Hello, we are the parents that make up the small FOSS committee. Our job is to co-ordinate and help the school to organise fun events for the pupils and parents at Standlake. Whilst doing this we try to raise the vital funds that help to provide the little “extras” as well as support the larger projects within the school.

We aim to involve the village and local community where possible during our fundraising but most importantly aim to support the school to give the children great memories to take from their years at Primary school.

Everyone automatically becomes a member of FOSS upon joining the school and everyone is more than welcome to come along to our ‘informal’ meetings. If you feel you would like to be more involved or can help out in any way we would love to hear from you.

Current FOSS Committee

Joint Chairs: 
Jess Pountney (mum to Mara Jade and Ezra) & Jenny Chandela (mum to Oliver and Estelle)

Chair meetings, receives agenda items and circulates agenda. Write FOSS news in school newsletter, point of contact for school. Signatory on bank account.

Vice chair: 
Laura Farrington (mum to James and Flo)

Supports chair and stands in for chair when they are unavailable.

Secretary:
Jo Horne (mum to Luis)

Ensures meetings are minuted and distributes minutes, organises and keeps notice board up to date. Keeps notes on all fundraising events for future reference.

Treasurer:
Louise Weldon (mum to Emily, Rosie and Beatrice)

Oversees the accounts, keeps financial records, manages the bank account. Liaises with accountant. Is a signatory for the bank account.
